I had raised three children\u2014Betty, Thomas, and Sarah\u2014with everything I had. Their father and I worked tirelessly to provide them with what we never had. We weren\u2019t rich, but we gave them love, security, and a home. I thought that would matter. But after Harold passed, they placed me in a nursing home.<\/p>\n
